In 1974 Leonard “Lenny” Greenberg founded Greenhill, leaving a thriving brokerage to strike out on his own. In the 45 years since then, Greenhill has built a diverse portfolio spanning office, retail, warehouse and multi-family properties in some of the most desirable locations in the Washington DC Metro area. Greenhill is committed to improving the communities where we work, live and play. We have always stayed true to our community roots, lending our support to key institutions and local and national charitable organizations. From making neighborhoods more beautiful by supporting public art to lending our expertise to hospitals, charities and association boards, our team actively serves the public good. Whether through the donation of time, funding, or, in some cases, tracts of land, we continually invest in the communities where we operate and happily give back in any way we can.
