This time of year is always the most exciting at the Chamber. October is when we recognize our Businesses of the Year as well as honor our selected Business Leader of the Year at our Business Leader and Business Awards Reception. The event this year will be held on October 21 from 6pm-9pm, at the George Washington National Masonic Memorial. Award winning Chef Cathal Armstrong will once again cater this fabulous event, which includes tastings from all his restaurants and cocktails by Todd Thrasher. And new this year, Alexandria Cupcake will be supplying dessert!
The Business Leader and Business Awards Reception recognizes the leaders in the business community whose vision and commitment contribute to a vibrant and thriving Alexandria. In 2015, we are proud to honor Srikant K. Sastry, National Managing Principal of Advisory Services at Grant Thornton LLP as the 2015 Business Leader of the Year. And while the business winners will not be unveiled until our awards ceremony, you can view a list the list of nominated agencies on our website by clicking here.
As the Voice of Business in Alexandria, the Chamber is proud to honor our member businesses and celebrate with the entire community. We hope you will join us in honoring our business community and those who make Alexandria an ideal place to do business.
